Finances

Finn Church Aid (FCA) is Finland’s largest international aid organisation based on the funding for our program work in 12 countries in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Since 2022, FCA has also operated a country office in Ukraine.

Our four main funding sources are parish and church contributions, private donations, government funding and international funding. In 2023, FCA’s fundraising amounted to 72.7 million euros.

In 2023, our operations cost 72.9 million euros, of which we used 64.8 million for international aid operations. We spent 8.1 million euros on our domestic operations, including fundraising and communications, and general administration, such as the Head Office, finance division and overhead.

FCA ensures that the available funds are used as productively and responsibly as possible. As one of Finland’s leading development cooperation organisations, we have developed an internal audit supported by the board’s inspection committee. Risk management is also a part of our operational planning and assessment. FCA is audited by KMPG, a global network of firms providing audit and advisory services.
